CHILDREN OF THE WORLD TEOS TRIP (eTwinning)
The subject of "Children's Rights" is covered in the Children Of The World eTwinning project carried out by our school teacher Derya Çakmak Uçar and our 1/B class. Under the title of 'The right to a livable world', our students met with the students of Martyr Ögretmen Mehmet İzdal Primary School, Ebru Güngör, Selvinaz Ergün and Samime Kaya, who are among the project partners. The event started with a tour of the ancient city of Teos and a nature walk. Archaeologist Mehmet UĞUR informed our students about the history of the Ancient City of Teos. Our school teacher Derya ÇAKMAK UÇAR told an Anatolian Tale to our students who found and marked the Ancient City symbols and the creatures in nature in English on the cards prepared by Ebru Güngör and Selvinaz Ergün. Our students, who had a short dance activity after the fairy tale, had a small picnic and rested. During the picnic, Samime Kaya gave brief information about the change of nature and ecological balance, carbon emissions and global warming since ancient civilizations. Our children will implement a STEAM event during the break. They realized the awareness raising activity of this event. With the knowledge they have acquired, our students will design a nature-friendly magnet-operated or electric vehicle that moves with the thrust of the air. They will exhibit their designs with a virtual exhibition.
